Multiple systems can be used to increase coverage and/or user capacity on a single or multiple sites.
DECT is supported on Meridian X11 Releases R23 onwards at lower capacities.
Up to 700,000 square metres on large Meridian (depends on building characteristics)
Base-stations provide the radio link to the user's handset.
Support handover and roaming - user can walk and talk wherever he/she is on site.
- Two base-stations are available:
- Normal Base-station: 6 channel (supports up to 6 simultaneous calls)
- High Capacity Base-station: 12 channel (supports up to simultaneous calls). For use in dense offices.
- Typical cell radius within a building 20-100m
- Optional directional antenna
- Unobtrusive - wall or ceiling mounted
- Optional external housing for outdoor coverage
